Page up! Rentide now updates on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with one page on each.

There aren't any pages this week, and I think you can tell why! We have a prettyful new layout instead!
I thought that the old layout was looking, well, old, which isn't surprising as I made it two years ago. I hated to think that people were being put off of the website because of how it looked (they can be put off by the terrible art in the first chapter instead). The new layout looks much darker, which is good, as the comic is about to get much darker and much more serious. Chapter 3 is where the plot really starts!
And also - look at that little button to the left! We have a chat page! Well, actually it's two polls, but they have comment features which means you can talk about the subject there, and give me feedback. There's a poll there about the new layout - let me know your opinion!
By the way, I haven't redone all the archived pages to fit with the new layout, but I might at some point.

Pages! Three of them!
By the way, you don't have to read all of this.
I realised recently that Rentide is almost a year old. According to schedule, I should have done 100 pages. I've done 40. This makes me feel so bad. I love Rentide, and I don't know why I haven't drawn more of it. I even have plans to release the first printed graphic novel next year. Even that doesn't make me draw more though. I reallt don't know why I've fallen so behind in updates.
So, until I've got to page 100, I'm going to update with four pages a week. Even if this involves staying up past midnight every Saturday, I'm going to do it.
Starting from November, I've got big plans for Rentide. I'm going to do lots more link exchanges to get more readers, and once more people read it, I'll be able to start things like a forum, chatbox, e.t.c... I'm also going to change this blog - I hate it! So please can you all do your best to get me some more readers! (I sound so greedy...) You guys have been very supportive, through emails, feedback and fanart. Wow, three weeks without missing an update! Yay! Oh - here are the pages.
There may not be an update next week, as I am spending most of the weekend at the midlands expo, and I normally draw at weekends.

There won't be an update next week, as I'm in Holland, but there will be a nice big update the week after - including new pictures on the cast page, more world information and some new link banners.

There are two more pieces of fanart up in the gallery. The character shown doesn't appear until chapter 2 though!

Sorry about missing the update last week, I was busy reworking the script for the first few chapters. As you can see, I'm finding it much easier to update on Mondays, so I'll probably set that as my update day.

Sorry about the extended hiatus! The comic is updating normally again, but it'll only be one page a week until I'm used to updating.

I'm really sorry about missing the last update, and because of another project, there aren't any pages this week either. I'm not stopping the comic - it'll be updating again next week. I'm also changing the day that it updates to Sunday. Sorry!
I've added a gallery to the site, with two old sketches of Keira and Alish in it - I'll update the gallery when there are more characters in the comic. There's also my first ever fanart in there - drawn by the fantastic Feraldragon! I love getting fanart - if you'd like to submit some, then e-mail it to me at elliethewarrior@yahoo.co.uk.

Only one page up this week. It's not that this page took me a long time, but the page that I'm working on at the moment seems to be taking forever. Sorry about that - I'll put two pages up next week, no matter how far I've got.

New pages up! Finally - a comic update!
I'd like to say thank you to my great friend Abbi for proof-reading my site and finding multiple spelling errors - completely voluntarily! Thank you Abbi!
Also, some funky new navigational stuff has been added to the world page - I'm beginning to get used to Dreamweaver. I still can't get the URL to change with each page though!

As promised, the world page has been updated with a huge amount of stuff. This just proves how nerdy I am. From now on, I'm only going to update the world section when new things are seen in the comic. There aren't any pictures, and you don't have to read all of iit - I just thought that it would be quite a useful resource if there are things in the comic that you don't understand.
Also, I've made a major change to the links page, as I had made all the links pixelly (is that a word). I've fixed the problem with the chapter one cover (hopefully) and some issues with the backgrounds and navigation. And I've added some more to the FAQ! Hopefully that's the site sorted, and I'll be able to get on with the comic.
Phew... long post!

Welcome to Rentide, a brand new fantasy webcomic. Updates will be either one or two pages every Saturday. All pages from now on will be in black and white, except from covers, which will be full colour. Rentide is rated PG-13. Pages 0 and 1 are up!
P.S. Next week there will be no comic update - I am adding a load to the world section instead.
